Abstract

The audiobook publishing content industry is a thriving and rapidly growing sector. Statistics indicate that it grew by 21.5% between 2016 and 2018, with audiobook sales in the United States reaching $2.5 billion, American publishers alone sold $940 million worth of audiobooks in 2018. The Global Audiobook Market Trends Report for 2023 stated that the audiobook industry has experienced massive growth in the past five years due to the rising demand for audiobooks and the increasing presence of startups offering audiobook subscriptions and Audiobooks are being used and listened to digitally on tablets, mobile phones, or computers, This ensures the protection of copyright and reduces distribution costs, and the integration of features such as play, pause, fast forward, and rewind in audiobooks allows users to listen to their books easily, making them more appealing than their counterparts, This study aims to monitor and review the literature review on the topic of publishers’ accounts for audiobooks across several of the most commonly used audiobook publishing platforms by users at both the global and Arab level. The current study aims to identify the qualitative, thematic, and linguistic characteristics of the published literature. The study followed a literature review approach to monitor and present the published intellectual output related to the topic as one of the most important findings of the study was the focus of foreign and Arab literature review on sentiment analysis to evaluate one of the library services, The literature review in the field of sentiment analysis was in the media, engineering, and computer science sectors. Despite this importance, there are no Arab or foreign studies addressing the sentiment analysis of accounts of Arabic audiobook publishers on social media networks.
