Abstract

Textbooks have become increasingly important in education for teachers and students as the digital revolution and current technologies have evolved and been integrated into the educational area, resulting in the introduction of the interactive electronic textbook. The interactive e-book is one part of current technology that strives to broaden scientific perspectives, and it is distinguished by a set of traits that are not found in paper textbooks. Currently, interest in e-textbooks is growing since they represent new technology for both teachers and students. Thus, the study sought to discover the literature on interactive e-textbooks. The study employed the literature review methodology to present the literature on this subject in general, through presenting studies related to producing e-textbooks and their usage.
